MicroStrategy co-founder and prominent Bitcoin advocate Michael Saylor has publicly offered to appear on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast to discuss Bitcoin. In a May 31 post on X, Saylor wrote: “Hey @joerogan, let’s talk about Bitcoin,” responding to a Rogan fan’s question about the potential uninvited guest.
The statement quickly created a wave of excitement in the Bitcoin community. Some analysts said that if the interview took place, it would “rock the internet.” Prominent users like The Bitcoin Therapist and Brandon MacDougal also voiced their support, saying that it would be a historic podcast episode.
Joe Rogan has long been interested in Bitcoin, having discussed the topic with guests like Andreas Antonopoulos since 2014. In a recent podcast with Sam Altman (OpenAI), Rogan emphasized that Bitcoin is the most attractive cryptocurrency with a limited supply and the potential to become a mainstream currency.
While Rogan has not responded to Saylor's invitation, it is not uncommon for crypto industry guests to appear on podcasts. With MicroStrategy currently holding over 580,000 BTC worth over $60 billion, Saylor's appearance could mark a major milestone for Bitcoin's popularity.
Saylor also recently shared on the Coin Stories podcast that Bitcoin is going through a transition period, with short-term investors pulling back to make way for long-term believers. He believes this could pave the way for a new rally that could take Bitcoin closer to $150,000 in the future.
